Nexia considers the pursuit and protection of intellectual property assets vital to its commercial success. Nexia's policy is to aggressively seek and defend worldwide patent protection for inventions made by Nexia scientists, as well as discoveries made jointly by Nexia and its collaborative partners. In addition, Nexia seeks to obtain rights in proprietary technologies from other organizations to complement its own core technology and further support development and commercialization of its products. Nexia currently holds rights in 35 issued U.S. patents and patent applications and nearly 100 foreign patents and patent applications.
